Williamsburg’s Kurtis Steck, in a time of 17 minutes, 24 seconds, edged Nathan Bruno of The Bronx by five seconds and Williamsburg’s Todd Van Luling by six seconds. In the women’s race, Megan Heidt of Silver Spring, Md., easily won in 19:38 to beat Nicole Busschaert of Newport News (20:41.)
